Our History
Seeds of Ngima started with a simple belief: every community deserves access to compassionate, sustainable healthcare. Ngima, which means "life" and "health" in the Dholuo language, reflects the heart of what we hope to accomplish: planting small seeds of care that can grow into lasting change.
We work hand-in-hand with local partners and healthcare providers to strengthen healthcare in places where there may be limited access to medical services. From supporting clinics to sharing health education programs, our goal is to help communities build their own paths towards better health.
Currently, we’re proud to support the Wakinga Community Health Centre in partnership with the Sagrema Foundation on Mfangano Island, Kenya, in expanding access to essential healthcare, promoting maternal health in the community, and nurturing a healthier future - one seed at a time.
